At many independent schools, auxiliary programs and their directors often exist outside of the central structures of the school. This isolation can have the impact of limiting program potential and growth. The purpose of this session is to empower auxiliary leaders to become more effective within their school communities. Combining a panel of experienced Directors with the opportunity to share among peers, all attendees will leave with new ideas and concrete strategies to increase auxiliary integration. Communication and collaboration with other department heads, partnering with school initiatives, joining committees, and building relationships among the faculty all can contribute to furthering auxiliary department goals.
