Diversity and cultural competency are two important subject matters that are being discussed in society. An understanding of cultural competency,  diversity, and blindspots in auxiliary programs as schools begin to embrace individuals from a variety of backgrounds is a necessity. In conjunction with understanding cultural diversity and cultural competency, having tools and resources to help identify blindspots within an existing program are vital.
